About Ms. Gutierrez

I was born and raised in Oceanside, CA. I am the oldest of four girls (sorry, Dad) and am a proud owner of the cutest miniature schnauzer. Being a total family girl, I decided to stay close and attend California State University San Marcos. There, I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a Depth of Study in Arts in Education. After a few years of teaching, I decided to extend my learning by pursuing and obtaining a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. This excites me because I want to be an example to my students that we are all life-long learners! 

When I am not in the classroom, you'll find me at Oh Juice, Anthropologie, SeaWorld, Disneyland, or the farmer's market. I love walking around the city, swimming, being around animals, spoiling my nephew, and watching movies with lots of blankets!
