LCM would like to thank these generous donors for turning the Science Garden into a beautiful outdoor Science Classroom!

• Eldorado Stone built sturdy new benches for our students to sit on, and the kids LOVE them! Eldorado Stone donated the supplies and built our wonderful new seats.
  
  
• KRC Rock donated a huge truck full of new redwood chips to cover the ground, which help to keep the garden clean.
  
  
• Heaviland Landscape Management replaced all the irrigation in the garden beds and added a desperately needed hose bib. The Heaviland company also donated many hours of man power to help clean up the garden, replace the irrigation and they installed our new Redwood chips. They were a life saver!
  
  
• Lowes donated the new Sail Shades.
  
  
• Home Depot on Melrose donated the Redwood poles and cement which hold up the Sail Shades.
  
  
• Home Depot San Marcos donated enough organic soil and starter pots so every student at LCM is able to plant their own veggie.

Each of these generous companies were happy to help the students at La Costa Meadows Elementary. Their time, products and willingness to help is greatly appreciated by each and every student at our school. The kids love coming to the Science Garden! Thanks to the donations of our generous donors and your Wave donations, our kids are able to experience hands on Science in an outdoor classroom.
