LCM CHOIR
The LCM Choir is a fun and exciting performance group for grades third through fifth. Students will perform with the choir and develop beginning vocal techniques in a fun learning environment. In addition, students are given opportunities to perform for parents, peers and the community. Most importantly, they will be encouraged to make music an enjoyable part of their lives. Vocal performance techniques will include:posture, breathing, projection, tone, diction, articulation, dynamics, tempo, how to warm-up, solfeggio scale degrees, falsetto head voice, musical terminology and how to have a lot of fun performing and singing together as a group.
Concerts: Students will have the opportunity to perform this year at the following scheduled concerts:
- San Marcos Tree Lighting Ceremony,
- A School Assembly,
- Holiday Concert for Parents,
- and at the Halloween Flag Salute.
Who can Join: Choir membership is open to 3rd through 5th grade boys and girls.
Rehearsals: will be held each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:30 pm in the multi-purpose room (Cafeteria Stage). Please remember that pick up is at 4:30pm, in front of the school.
