Birthday Book Club

 

What is it?

The LCM Birthday Book Club is a long-standing tradition that allows parents to recognize a child's birthday by donating books to the LCM Library. Children are recognized at Flag Salute, and a book plate is placed in the donated book.

How does it work?

Select a book your child would like to donate to the library in honor of his/her birthday. You may purchase a book on your own and bring it to the library or you can order a book from the LCM Library Amazon Wish List. Donated books should be new or in excellent condition, preferably hard cover so they can withstand wear and tear of library circulations. The donated book will be presented at flag salute and added to the library with a name plate with the student's name on it.

Deadlines
Donations are due one week prior to the Flag Salute that you would like it included in. If the deadline is missed, it will be included in the following month's Flag Salute. Missed your birthday month or have a Summer birthday? No worries, Birthday Books can be donated at any time throughout the school year.
